We recommend to book accomodation in Białka Tatrzańska (closer a little bit more expensive) or in Zakopane (around 40 – 60 minutes drive).
Getting there by plane:
The nearest airport is Kraków – Balice (Cracow). The train will take you to the main railway station in the city center (30 minutes).
From there you can catch a bus going directly to Zakopane or Białka Tatrzańska (2 hours). The bus terminal is located next to the Kraków main railway station.
To get to Białka Tatrzańska from Zakopane you will have to take bus leaving from the stop located in front of the bus terminal or take a taxi which should cost around 25 euro one way ( 40-60 minutes drive depending on the traffic).
You can also rent a car at the airport (all major car rental companies plus few less expensive). For the best deals check kayak.com and search for KRK Airport rentals.
