FIS Europa Cup Qualifiers in Białka Tatrzańska
The Kotelnica Białczańska Ski Resort is hosting the Garmin Winter Sports Festival 2025, one of the most important winter sports events in Poland. As part of the event, the thrilling FIS European Cup Big Air qualifications took place today, drawing athletes from: Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Great Britain and Ukraine.

The first part of the day belonged to the snowboarders. Elias Lehner (Switzerland) dominated the men’s qualifiers, impressing the judges with his exceptional style and technical execution. His standout tricks included a backside 1260 and a switch backside 1260. In the women’s category, Sam Van Lieshout (Netherlands) delivered an outstanding performance, landing a frontside 720 mute and a backside 720 tail, securing the top spot.

In the second half of the day, freeskiers took the stage. Frank Wahlstroem (Norway) executed the two highest-scoring jumps of the day: a double cork 1440 blunt and a switch double cork 1620 safety. Among the women, Kateryna Kotsar (Ukraine) secured the top spot, earning the highest marks for her cork 720 and cork 900 switch.
