Another local favorite – Jan Jaromin – lost only 15.33 points to the winner Lucas Hendrix from the Netherlands. This is the best result in the career of the young Pole, who was very happy with Saturday’s performance – “I wanted to land the first trick to have a chance to try the dub 1080 two times. I wasn’t 100% sure about the switch backside 9 with melon grab but in the end, everything went according to plan. I’m most pleased with the double, because in the second attempt I managed to land it perfectly.”

The winner of Friday’s qualis Artiz Lopez Sousa from Spain was third among snowboarders.

In the freeski competition Joel Liimatainen from Finland make a clear statement by winning both in qualifications and finals. Second was Sorokin from Estonia and third Vincent Veile from Germany.

“I’m really happy, as today in the morning I has some stomachache and I wasn’t even sure if I was going to start. I started with a more difficult trick, a switch double bring back 720, which I haven’t had a chance to do too many times this season. Then I did a bring back double 900. So in the end end everything went according to plan.” – said Liimatainen.
